Murud Fort and Khim Beach is very famous as we travel from Mumbai to Alibaug. After Revdanda bridge, take right turn on T junction and then starts silver sand beach of Khim which ranges till Murud Janjira Fort.

Beautiful flat beach with cleanest sand invites you to submerge in the earth for a while. Less traveled beach is can be visited around the year. One of the good hotel run by Swan Resorts, having beach cottages and with very economical range also famous for its food.

Murud in the Dapoli taluka of Ratnagiri district such a big favourite of tourists all year round. Also, not only have they been blessed with natural attractions but they also occupy a significant place in the history of the state. The white silky seashore at Harnai-Murud is adorned with a chain of sea forts such as Suvarnadurg, Kanakdurg and Goa. Murud is also famous for being the birthplace of two prominent personalities who have been awarded the Bharat Ratna.
